Conscious Bacterium Agent No. 001
Through the accumulation and curation of guest papers and transcripts, and by applying evolving generative AI technologies, it becomes feasible to model aspects of the claims and arguments of the different guests and their schools of thought. By creating such models, we enable the audience to query such models asynchronously and critically interact with the models. Such interaction can improve shared communication and understanding, while also identifying areas for improvement. One can think of this as a repository as an evolving knowledge model of “the state of science” for the field of living, computational natural intelligences. The intent is also to encourage experiments and technologies that would test different claims and advance an open computational architecture of applied principled AI.
We recognize that the current state of the art of modeling beliefs and their underlying logics is still primitive. Hence we have indicated each stage of agent modeling “development” with an appropriate “icon”. The first phase of “conscious agent” for modeling schools of thought is represented as an R. Crumb- inspired bacterium.
